2025 Copa América Talla Baja Recap
The United States Dwarf Futbol Association proudly competed in the 2025 Copa América Talla Baja in Asunción, Paraguay, marking one of the program’s most memorable international appearances to date. The USDFA squad advanced to the quarterfinals, demonstrating resilience, unity, and a level of competitive growth that reflects the rising standard of dwarf football in the United States.
Beyond the results on the field, this tournament became a celebration of friendship and community. Players forged new relationships with athletes from across the Americas—connections strengthened by shared experiences, mutual respect, and the love of the sport. For many on the team, these bonds were as meaningful as the matches themselves.
The 2025 edition of Copa América also showcased the surging global momentum behind the sport. The championship match between Paraguay and Argentina drew more than 260,000 viewers on YouTube, a milestone that highlighted how rapidly dwarf football is expanding and how much interest the sport is generating around the world.
For the USDFA, this tournament was not an ending but a launching point. The team returns home inspired, motivated, and committed to building on this momentum—creating new pathways for athletes, expanding opportunities for international play, and continuing to grow dwarf football across the United States.
We’re just getting started
In February of 2025 USDFA was granted membership with The US Soccer Federation. We hope to use this opportunity as a way to generate a player database, forming training sessions and games based on where interested members reside. These regional events will help our coaches and board members host ID camps for our Men’s and Women’s National Teams.

DAAA National Games
July 10-17, 2026 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Several members of USDFA will be at the weeklong event and we hope to connect with players and parents wanting to learn more!

UASA Camp
The United Adaptive Soccer Association (UASA) is hosting a multi disability soccer camp in Chicago, Illinois from July 25-28th. USDFA will be attending, this will be the first camp for our new women’s dwarf soccer program! Registration closes June 20th.

Men's Copa America 2025
The 4th Short Stature Copa America tournament took place in Paraguay from November 22nd-30th 2025. The USDFA squad advanced to the quarterfinals, demonstrating resilience, unity, and a level of competitive growth that reflects the rising standard of dwarf football in the United States.

LPA Orlando Trifecta Clinic
October 10th-11th USDFA will be in attendance at this year’s Trifecta LPA regional in Orlando, FL. We will be hosting a children’s soccer clinic, and a teens/adults soccer training and scrimmage. Check out our Flyer, and Sign Up for the event today!
