About USDFA

Our Vision

We envision a future where soccer is accessible and inclusive to all with dwarfism. Our goal is to break down barriers and shift perceptions about dwarfism in athletics by ensuring that every individual with dwarfism has access to the resources, training, and support to play—whether it’s at a recreational, competitive, or professional level.

Our Mission

To create a national soccer organization for players with dwarfism, establishing youth programs, and forming Women’s and Men’s National Teams that compete in domestic and international events.

Who we are?

The United States Dwarf Futbol Association(USDFA) is the first organization focused on establishing a national soccer organization for players with dwarfism.

Why we started?

To fill a gap in the adaptive sports landscape, USDFA exists to ensure that those with dwarfism have a space to play, compete, and enjoy the game of soccer.

What we do?

We offer a way for dwarf athletes to stay involved and compete in the game of soccer. And to educate families, coaches, and the public on the importance of inclusion and opportunity.

Our Goals for 2025

Growth & Access

  • Grow to 100+ registered players nationwide by 2026

  • Establish 4 regional training hubs to provide easier access for training opportunities

  • Host or be members at three events per year (clinics, camps, etc.)

  • Partner with one or more major sponsors to help offset costs for hosting our first USDFA camp at the Orlando Trifecta regional in October, as well as travel costs for the 2025 Copa America Championships in November.

  • Create a resource toolkit for coaches and parents that explains what to expect when coaching or supporting a dwarf athlete — including physical considerations, inclusive coaching practices, and how parents can advocate for their athlete

Pathway & Performance

  • Recruit 10–15 female athletes for first Women’s National team by end of 2025, schedule first matches for women’s team

  • Strengthen our Youth-to-National Team pipeline (ages 14+) for both men and women’s programs

  • Field a Mens Team for Copa America 2025
